Gemini New Moon – Re-Emergence of the Self
As we move past the personally inward retrograde periods that colored most of the Spring, we come to the first lunar cycle in many months free of such deep introspection: The Gemini New Moon. This Gemini New Moon will take place on Thursday 5/25/17 at 1:44 PM MDT.
The sense here is one of finally finding new beginnings. So much beautiful and challenging work has been done, and now we are finally ready, able, and willing to venture out into the
world again. And as we do this, we may begin to notice that things have shifted. We may notice that we’re not the same person we were just a few months ago. The change is profound, and we know it.
And so the question becomes then, what to do with all this transformation that’s occurred? How will we integrate this into our overall life philosophy and guiding belief system? And how will we derive personal meaning from it all?
The invitation is to be free and childlike. To explore a number of different things, places, people, and interests to see what resonates most with this new mode of operating that has emerged. This part is necessary. For everything that has shifted within you is all for naught if the container of your life is not able to hold it.
The sense here is one of freedom and lightness, of renewed joy in life and living. That’s certainly to be appreciated and enjoyed, but it’s also not something to be done solely for it’s own sake in a hedonistic sort of way. For in this lunar cycle of the Gemini New Moon, the Cosmos are inviting you to try new things, travel to new places, meet new people, and read new books, but all the while still to be discerning about that which you’re doing and to never lose sight of how these things play into your overall vision of life, what you really and truly want, and what gives you a greater sense of meaning.
At the end of the day, the desire is to reach past established forms. To create a new form, however subtle or drastic that may look. For you the creator of your own life, and these are your gifts to discover and offer.
So many blessings on this journey and process.
